Peggy Nadeau was born in St. John, New Brunswick in 1935 and began studying painting as a child, first with Avery Shaw and later with Fred Ross. Later she studied at the Instituto de Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she produced landscape and figure paintings.
